While their older sibling pays homage to the clean, simple lines of the Bauhaus movement, the 2M15 and 2M15C are new, timeless nods to Mid-Century modern design, crafted in Germany using Merz b. Schwanen's original knitting machine from the 1960s.

While their older sibling pays homage to the clean, simple lines of the Bauhaus movement, the 2M15 and 2M15C are new, timeless nods to Mid-Century modern design, crafted in Germany using Merz b. Schwanen's original knitting machine from the 1960s.
Each Shirt delivers 230g/qm (6,8oz/sq.yd.) of sturdy jersey, along with immeasurable style, a tapered fit, and function befitting high-quality form. The 2M15C takes its cropped-design cues from Carmy Berzatto's favorite T-shirt in 'The Bear', who famously tailored his 215 to sit on the waistband of his pants.
Like all Merz b. Schwanen pieces, the 2M15 and 2M15C are crafted with all-natural materials using socially responsible manufacturing practices, consciously advancing original, feel-good design.
Manufacturing the 2M15 & 2M15C
Durable, dependable, and comfortable, this jersey is crafted exclusively on a rare, original circular knitting machine from the 1960s. Unlike modern machines that use more needles to produce finer jerseys, this vintage knitting machine stands out for its distinctive way manufacturing.
Featuring an unusually wide needle spacing, a 26-inch (66 cm) diameter, and a two-thread manufacturing process, this circular knitting machine offers a unique construction that differentiates itself from our loopwheelers.
